With a 20 year-experience in Industry, Guillaume Confais-Morieux spent the last 7 years within the SNCF Group, first as Commercial Manager for the coal & ore market of Freight SNCF, then as Marketing & Sales Manager for SNCF Infrastructure Engineering Division (which is now joining SNCF Réseau). In this last position, Guillaume helped the Engineering Division to grow from €400 to €850 M turnover and developed its customer awareness and satisfaction. During previous professional experiences Guillaume worked abroad on regular basis, including in Belgium. He also lived and worked 2 years in Italy as well as 2 years in Germany , prior to joining the SNCF Group. He is married and has a 9 year-old daughter. Guillaume declared “As a European citizen, a rail freight promoter and a strong believer in the development of rail for the European environment and economy, I am very excited to join the Rail Freight Corridor North-Sea – Mediterranean. My team and I remain at your disposal for the extension of your rail freight traffic between North-Sea and Mediterranean, and am looking forward to a great collaboration”.
